Cooking tasty, healthy, home style cooking for Shabbat, Chagim and Occasions.

With more than 40 years in the food and restaurant industry, Dennis Phillips began his career in Cape Town after which he joined the famous LongHorn Steakhouse chain in Johannesburg. While traveling abroad in the 1990s, he worked in London and Los Angeles before returning to South Africa to join the popular Cattleman Steakhouse in Durban. After making aliyah in 2001, he moved from steakhouses to homestyle meals and Jewish delicacies, opening The Deli on Nitza in Netanya, which he turned into a local favorite. After selling the business, he opened Freshit in Herzliya Pituach, offering fresh salads, fish and vegetables, mostly to hi-tech workers in the area. Although it was a big hit, he was forced to close due to corona. Denis recently opened Denny’s Foods at Moshav Udim, providing tasty homestyle cooking for Shabbat, chagim and special occasions that has the kosher stamp of Rabbanut Hof Hasharon.
